October is National Domestic Violence Prevention Month. Get involved...End Domestic
Employee theft could be a debilitating blow to the goals of any company--regardless of size. Once it has been confirmed that an employee has committed theft or fraud from the company, concrete steps and processes must be placed to deter future instances. It is extremely important to deal with the worker in a swift and concise manner to address the incident, i.e., through the completion of theft classes, community service or restitution, if necessary. Another question may be considered is "Should the employee be terminated?" PJP's case management approach to employee theft could be a critical aid in decision-making to either end or continue the relationship. This process could result in a workable solution for all parties concerned.
